Conference on information networking amount DPOs

On July 11, 2006, Danishkadah arranged a conference on "cross disability platform for information networking of Disabled People Organizations (DPOs)" in technical collaboration with Asia Pacific Development Center on Disabilities (APCD). Around 60 participants from different disabled people organizations all over Pakistan attend this conference. The aim of this conference was;

Program started with the recite of Holy Quran. Mr. Muhammad Akram, Founder Chairman - Danishakdah, welcomed all the guests, and thanked to APCD for their continuous support and encouragement since his return from APCD training.

Then representative of participants' organizations gave brief introduction of their organization.

Mr. Ghulam Nabi Nizamani give a wonderful presentation on unity, he also perform as interpreter, as the appointed interpreter had an emergency. This also showed that if persons from different type of disabilities work together it benefit one another.

Mr. Zeshan (STEP), Mr. Irfan (PAD), Jawed Rais (SDF), and Mr .Ghulam Nabi (DPI) shared their experience of DPOs / info networking, and gave presentations.

Mr. Hisao Chiba, and Mr. Monthian from APCD gave presentation on APCD activities for information networking. Chief Guest Mr. Arif Aajakia (Town Naizm City Govt.) assured his full support for disabled people. And Danishkadah again thanked to all participants and guests.
